He is Risen Indeed!

"But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His stripes WE ARE HEALED. "
Isaiah 53:5

Good Friday is such a precious and dark reminder of what Jesus Christ took on for us, and Sunday the awesome celebration that by HIS stripes we are healed.  It is hard to comprehend His grace. What an incredible blessing to be able to celebrate this freedom.  Thank You, Jesus.

We were so thankful to get to see family this past Easter weekend!  We went to my sister Sarah's house in Hamilton on Saturday and had such a fun day!  Uncle Joel came for the day as well!  He is so brave.:)  We had a great lunch and felt so grown up to cook it all by ourselves without Mom and Dad.  It wasn't the same without them, though!  We took some cousin pictures with all the kids and had an Easter egg hunt.  Joseph mostly just sucked on the plastic eggs, but he was scoping it all out for next year.

Aunt Kate got him a snazzy new polo for the cousin pics:)

We love weekends because we get such great Daddy time!

The boys LOVE Uncle Joel! It is so cute.  He always has fun treasures for them.

 All the cute cousins.
I think it is mathmatically impossible to get them to do the following all at the same time: 1). Be looking the same general direction and not at the butterfly going by or looking for frogs in the creek  2). Smile 3). Not be messing with, grabbing the hair of or laughing at the person next to you 4). Not be overwhelmingly wiggly because of the anticipation of the promised rewards if you smile (ex: bubbles, lollipops, etc.).  But, considering the odds, I think they did pretty good!

Nieces and nephews are the best.  Especially mine!:)

Jaycee was the official "Joseph Holder."

Love to feel that grass on his tiny toes.

We spent a wonderful Sunday lunch with Memi and Grandpa Larry and his parents.  Larry dominated the grill as always.  So YUMMY!

Reading with Memi.

Working out in the yard and enjoying the beautiful weather!

Getting good snuggles and laughs with Daddy.

What a great weekend!  We are so thankful for our Savior and our family.  How sweet the name of Jesus sounds in a believer's ear.  It is overwhelming!  He is risen indeed!
