What we have been busy doing:
Gabe is busy rolling off of his make-shift bed. He has been living in our closet since he was about 2 weeks old. He likes it there. He usually is VERY vocal when he wakes up and wants you to come get him. One morning he woke us up with this really sweet coo, making precious little noises for about 10 minutes. Paul peeked in the closet to find this. He rolled off the mattress into a lounge position and was just hanging out. "No worries Mom and Dad, just hanging out on the floor." We got some major parenting bonus points for this one! Way to be a trooper, Gaber-Baber.
I was busy packing for our move to Pampa and I had Gabe in the Bumbo. He hadn't been moving at all in it, but I heard a bag making crunchy noises and he had whipped around and was grabbing stuff off the table. TWO moving boys!!
Joseph has been busy. Here he is busy getting in and out of our packing boxes. He is a FUNNY boy. We like him a lot.
We also were busy driving to Memphis, Tennessee for a DEAR friend's wedding in May. Joseph has a little car sleeping routine. He puts both hands behind his sweet little head and you know he is about to fall asleep. It is seriously awesome.
On our way to Memphis we stopped at Ouachita Baptist University where Paul went to school! It was so fun to walk around and hear his stories about all the crazy things they did there. Such fun memories for him. It is a beautiful campus. It takes 3 pictures of everything to get everyone looking at the camera at least once. I realize it is probably excessive for me to put them all on there, but half of the fun it seeing how hard it is to get a good pic of everyone.
Love this man.
Daddy's name on the sidewalk and J-man's fuzz head.
First night as a family in a hotel. It was pretty hilarious. We checked in around 1 am and all slept in the same room. These dudes are troopers.
Joseph is just giving Gabe a little bottle. No big deal.
Joseph and Gabe's first hotel pool experience. He was loving it.
Had to add this one because we spend a significant amount of time teaching Joseph how the world works:) This was one of those times. Paul does an incredible job being consistent with him, so strong and loving. I cannot even believe how blessed these boys (AND their Momma) are!
A long, but very worth while trip!! Congrats to Emily and Joe!! Somehow we made it to the wedding and got ZERO pictures of any wedding festivities.
