Love this boy o' mine!

I am loving being a Momma, ESPECIALLY to this precious little guy.  This summer has been a bit of a blur!  I worked quite a bit, have been pretty sick with this second little sweet baby, and Paul was taking care of Joseph for a majority of the time.  I cannot tell you how much I love and respect this husband o' mine.  He has shouldered this family all summer long, doing everything for me and Joseph from the time he gets up until he goes to bed.  I am humbled to get to be his wife.  He is so faithful to the Lord and sacrifices himself for the Lord and for us constantly.  Joseph is one BLESSED boy to have Paul as his daddy.  I know he will be get to see an incredible model of a man who lives for the Lord, heart and soul.  

We are almost 19 weeks with our 2nd one, and we can't wait to find out what it's going to be!  Joseph will be an awesome big brother!

Joseph is almost 1 year old!  What an incredibly fun and exciting year filled with laughs!  He is just so precious.  He is eating most anything, but still no dairy.  He has 8 teeth, has had 1 small cold, drinks from a cup with a straw, crawls everywhere, pulls up on things, smiles all the time and does the funniest things.  

Here is what we have been up to this summer.  It's not in order because my pregnany/mommy brain can't remember what happened when.:)  

We went to Kate's lake house for a family get together.  Joseph has lot's of fun cousins to watch and play with!

Mom, Kate, Jaycee and Liz came and stayed with us for a couple of days.  Joseph was mesmerized with the girls.  It was awesome!!

He was also really into Lizzy's hair.

He has mastered the straw cup and can suck some serious milk down from it.  He is so big:)

He is officially on the move.

He helped Daddy pack for his trip to New Mexico.  He can't wait to get to go with him on wilderness adventures!

While Paul went to New Mexico, J-monkey and I went to my parents.  We had such a fun visit!  We got to see Kate and the girls one more time before they headed back to school. 

He got to meet his first Polled Hereford heifer.  She was kinda loud and he wasn't so sure about her.

First trip to Ramsdell!   I loved getting to take him to a place that means so much to my family and has for over 100 years!  He played on the canoe at the lake with Memaw.

Papaw taught him everything he knows about fishing.  

This is a good picture if you are feeling down.  I have no idea what he was doing.  I think he was trying to give him squeenched up nose face, but the sun was in his eyes.  Result:  HILARIOUS.

We met Grandpa Rusty, Grandma Josey and Aunt Julie for lunch.  A good time was had by all!!

We have gotten to see Memi and Grandpa Larry several times this summer!  Memi is a teacher so she had more time this summer!  She made some good towers for Joseph to knock down.  We encourage it...and may regret it later when he goes to his little friends houses:)  They might not laugh and cheer him on.

One of his new favorite games is to crawl around the couch and he gives you a HUGE and priceless smile when he first sees you around the corner.  SO fun:)

We are in the middle of moving right now.  I pack 2 boxes, Joseph helps me unload one...and so on.  It's taking a little longer than I had expected.:)  BUT I would not have it any other way.

More to come soon!  We find out on September 1st if Joseph is having a little sister or brother!  We are moving next weekend as well.  This apartment has been a terrific home for us to bring our first child home to and see the Lord do some amazing things.  We are so humbled.  I tear up just thinking about it all!  Thank You, Jesus.
